Kim joined SOJ in 2023, bringing over 30 years of experience in architecture and construction management for public and private projects across Washington, the West Coast, and Asia. Her work includes NFL stadiums, mixed-use developments, spec labs, public libraries, schools, and skill centers.
 
Kim is skilled at navigating the complexities of the design process and adept at managing project teams and all aspects of the design and construction process.  As a licensed architect, Kim is committed to upholding high-quality designs and bringing efficient, constructable solutions to every project. Her ability to balance schedule, budget, and quality ensures that clients achieve their vision and project goals, ultimately creating lasting positive impacts for the community. Dedicated to sustainability and innovation, Kim is a longtime advocate for Biophilic Design, sustainable practices and integrative architecture. She earned her Living Future Accreditation in 2022 and has been a LEED Accredited Professional for over 20 years. Her passion for educational environments led her to achieve the Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP) certification in 2019.
