A New Mixed-Use Community Center

The bond-funded Gladstone Civic Center houses both a new Gladstone Police Headquarters and City Hall. The 21,000 square foot building features a community room, training facilities, office and administrative space, booking facilities, property and evidence storage, and public and secure parking. Cross-laminated timber was used in the public lobby.
 
SOJ served as Owner’s Representative though design, construction and closeout. Services included coordinating a Progressive Design-Build team selection process, preparing and negotiating contracts, construction administration and budget tracking, presenting project updates to City Council and assisting the City through the environmental site remediation.
