Genevieve Hale-Case Project Manager

Genevieve is involved in a number of public and non-profit projects including TOD planning for the City of Lake Forest Park, the Seattle Opera’s new home at the Seattle Center, and the Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion. She is passionate about working with public and private interests to create vibrant public spaces and unique community assets.

In each of the places she has called home, Genevieve has found opportunities to shape her community through serving on a small-town planning and zoning commission in Leadville, Colorado, supporting small businesses in Boston to undertake sustainability initiatives, or serving on the board of the Mount Baker Hub Business Association in Seattle’s Rainier Valley.

Prior to joining SOJ, Genevieve served as a project manger for a modular home builder and coordinated a college-level Outdoor Studies program. Through internships with Seattle-area affordable housing development and finance organizations, she has been able to deepen her experience and passion for public benefit projects. Genevieve earned a bachelor’s degree in Urban Community Development from Colorado College and master’s degrees in Urban Planning and Commercial Real Estate Development from the University of Washington.

A Seattle native, Genevieve loves living and breathing the exciting changes happening in her hometown’s built environment. While a passionate urbanist, Genevieve is also an avid outdoorswoman and spends her free time trail running, mountain biking, skiing and exploring the Pacific Northwest wilderness.
